Olive oil - ~2 tablespoons
Garlic Finsihing butter - ~2 tablespoons
Frozen Pizza Dough - ~28 ounces
Instructions
Defrost Pizza Dough according to instructions on package
Preheat oven to 400°.
Boil Chicken breast for about 10-15 minutes until fully cooked. Shred with a fork when finished.
In a bowl, mix the shredded chicken and enough Frank's Red Hot Buffalo Wing Sauce to coat the chicken. You do not want it dripping off.
Coat a 9 x 13 inch pan with a few tablespoons of olive oil. Spread the pizza dough out in the pan.
Spread all the shredded cheese types and the coated shredded chicken on top of the dough. Fold the dough over the mixture and pinch the edges so it stays closed. Flip the calzone seam side down in the pan.
Melt the garlic finishing butter in the microwave and brush the top of the calzone.
Bake in the oven at 400° for ~25 minutes until cooked.
Notes
This can adapted to any type of calzone or stromboli. Make sure raw meat is cooked before adding it to the dough. Get creative with different cheese types, sauces and meats.
