Ingredients
Lean Ground Beef (90/10) - 2lbs
Kraft Singles - 6 slices
Cheddar Cheese (shredded) - ~1 cup
Kings Hawaiian rolls - 12 pack
Lipton Onion Recipe & Dip Mix - 2 packs
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Mix the grown beef and Liptons seasoning.
Grease a 9 x 13 pan or line a cookie sheet with foil and evenly smoosh the ground beef across the pan.
Bake just the beef at 350 for 25-30 minutes (or until fully cooked).
Separate the tops of the rolls from the bottoms while keeping them all together and place the bottoms on a glass baking dish.
Remove the beef from the oven, drain any liquid/fat and pat dry if needed.
Add the cooked beef on top of the bottom half the rolls.
Add cheese slices, and the shredded cheese on top the beef.
Place the top half of the rolls.
Bake for another 5 minutes (or until cheese is melted and rolls are toasted).
Notes
Half the recipe for a smaller group (6 pack of rolls, a little over a 1lb of meat, and 4 slices of cheese).
The soup seasoning is essential because of the dehyrdrated onions (gives it that white castle taste). You can add this before cooking the beef, but don't want to drain it off when removing the fat.
